You can decide which one of these sessions you would like to experience, or just mention any symptoms you are having and Dee can decide which therapy might work best for you. Stress, pain, and tension melt away in a short time.
Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self curative abilities. When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body's life force to aid healing. Acupuncture and acupressure use the same points, but acupuncture employs needles, while acupressure uses the gentle but firm pressure of the hands.
Reflexology operates with the principle that reflexes in the feet are relative to every organ and all parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes can help restore health in a natural way. Not to be confused with massage, reflexology allows the body's own natural healing system to be activated.
Massage is a complementary therapy that can evoke many beneficial changes within the body, mind, and spirit of the whole person. It is very powerful because it works on the physical and psychological levels. It soothes the nervous system, removing tension and stimulating nerve endings. Massage assists the cardiovascular system by boosting blood and lymph circulation, so nutrients are brought to the cells and toxins are released. Mental stress is soothed away and equilibrium is reached again. And it just plain feels good.
