ACNW has been educating people with and about birds of prey and other wildlife since 1973. Currently, the Center is home to 8 birds of prey, an American Crow, Common Raven, North American Porcupine, Domestic Rabbit, and a variety of native reptiles, amphibians and fish.
We believe in using native animals whenever possible in our educational wildlife programs to give students of all ages an up-close experience with animals they are likely to see here in Minnesota. All of our resident birds and the porcupine have physical or mental injuries that prevent them from surviving in the wild. ACNW holds all necessary state and federal permits to care for these animals.
