50th Anniversary Weekend

Help us celebrate our 50th Anniversary!

Join us for this weekend of reunion, remembrance, reflection and recreation! 

For alumni and donors – June 14-16, we’ve planned a weekend that kicks off on Friday with check-in starting at 5:00 pm – and ends on Sunday morning.  (note: no dinner will be served on Friday evening). We have lodging packages and camping packages available (that include all meals, including Saturday’s dinner), as well as a la carte meals for purchase for campers. Registration required.

For everyone – On Saturday, June 15, we’ll have an ‘Open House’ day free for everyone, filled with activities such as High Ropes Course, Canoeing, Archery, Climbing Wall, Campus Tours, Forestry Hikes, and Open Barn. Lunch is available for purchase.

Evening of June 15 – a special 50th Anniversary Dinner at the Lake. Reservations required.

Friday, June 14:

  • 5:00-9:00 Check-In
  • 5:00-9:00 Welcome, Evening Social with Drinks and Appetizers
  • Campfire (weather permitting)

Saturday, June 15:

  • 7:30 – 8:30 Breakfast
  • OPEN HOUSE DAY FOR EVERYONE  –  10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Activities: High Ropes, Canoeing, Archery, Climbing Wall,
      Campus Tour, Forestry Hike, Open Barn
    • Lunch – 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (available for purchase if not registered for a weekend package)
    • Activities: High Ropes, Canoeing, Archery, Climbing Wall,
      Campus Tour, Forestry Hike, Open Barn

Dinner at the Lake and Presentation: ACNW at 50 Years
(reservations required if not registered for a weekend package)

    • 5:00 -6:00 Social Hour
    • 6:00 – 7:00 Dinner
    • 7:00 – 8:00 Presentation: ACNW at 50 Years
  • 8:00 Evening Social Continues
  • Campfire (weather permitting)

Sunday, June 16:

  • 6:30 – 8:00 Bird Hike
  • 8:00 – 9:00 Breakfast
  • 9:00 – 11:00 Outing to Banning State Park
  • 9:00 – 11:00 Self-led activities at ACNW: canoeing, hiking
  • Check out by 11 am

Weekend options for alumni and donors:

Lodging package: $54/adult; $25/child ages 5-12 (under 5 are free)

Includes weekend activities, complimentary lodging (space is limited), Saturday meals (breakfast, lunch, Dinner at the Lake) and Sunday breakfast. There is a $10/person charge if you want to use our linens.

PLEASE NOTE: for groups of less than 4, you will be sharing accommodations.

Camping package: $54/adult; $25/child ages 5-12 (under 5 are free)

Camping a la carte:

Includes weekend activities, complimentary camping. Saturday lunch and dinner meals can be added at time of registration [breakfast = $9/adult, $4.50 child (ages 5-12); lunch = $11/adult, $5.50/child (ages 5-12); Dinner at the Lake = $35/adult, $17/child (ages 5-12)]

CAMPING NOTE: campers and camping trailers are OK, however they must be self-contained as there will be no electrical or water hookups available.
