Species:  Leopard Frog

Northern Leopard Frogs are a common frog of the Audubon Center, most easily found in the early summer. They are green or brown frogs with dark spots on back and legs. They are usually 2-3.5″ long.

Fun Fact: Northern Leopard Frogs spend the winter in hibernation under the ice, where they are still capable of swimming, but very slowly.
